The First International Conference on Zika Virus is held from February 22nd to 25th in Washington DC (USA). The scientific program of this pioneering conference has been designed to provide an up to date panorama of the virus from a medical and geographical point of view.

A keynote lecture will be done by Annelies Wilder-Smith, ZikaPLAN Scientific Coordinator, on February 23rd about the evolution of the Zika outbreak.

Annelies Wilder-Smith is Professor of Infectious Diseases, Principal Investigator at the Vaccine Preventable Diseases & Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratory in Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Nanyang Technological University) in Singapore.
